Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FamGo Travel (“the App”), or by using this website at famgo.travel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or website.

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and Margo Studios LLC (“Margo Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “Company”) governing your use of the FamGo Travel mobile application and related services.

1. App Description and Services

FamGo Travel is a mobile application designed to help families organize travel planning, including:

Smart packing list generation
Family profile management (Premium)
Travel document organization
Trip planning, tasks, and reminders
Itinerary planning (Premium)
Disney Cruise itinerary tools (Premium)
Partner household sharing and multi-household trip collaboration (Premium)

The App is designed to work offline. Your trips, tasks, packing lists, documents, and family data are stored locally on your device. Premium features may sync selected data through Firebase when you enable partner sharing or accept a trip collaboration invite.

2. Age Requirements

The App is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. The App does not contain adult content and is designed for family travel planning.

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

Account Creation

No account with Margo Studios is required to use the free version of the App
Premium subscription management is handled through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
We use Adapty for subscription processing and entitlement management
Partner sharing and trip collaboration require a Firebase-authenticated account, which is created when you sign in to use those Premium features

Subscriptions are managed through Apple and Google’s respective payment systems. Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change with notice.

4. User Content and Data

User-Generated Content

Users may create and store travel-related content on their devices, including packing lists, tasks, itineraries, family profiles, and documents
All user content is stored locally on your device by default
With Premium partner sharing or trip collaboration enabled, selected trip data may be synced to Firebase to allow access by your designated partner or invited collaborators
Margo Studios does not access, view, or use your user-generated content for any purpose other than providing the sync and collaboration features you enable

Content Restrictions

Users agree not to use the App to store or manage:

Illegal content or materials
Content that violates intellectual property rights of others
Content intended to harass, threaten, or harm others

Intellectual Property

Users retain all rights to their user-generated content
Margo Studios retains ownership of the App’s proprietary algorithms, design, branding, and functionality
The packing list generation algorithm and other App logic are proprietary to Margo Studios; users own their specific generated lists and trip data

Premium users may link their account with one household partner
Both linked partners share access to the same household trips, family profiles, and household-scoped data
Only one partner needs an active Premium subscription for both to benefit
Either partner may unlink at any time; the household owner retains all data

Multi-Household Trip Collaboration (Premium)

Premium trip owners may invite other households to collaborate on a shared trip by email
Invited collaborators can view and contribute to trip-scoped content (shared tasks, shared itinerary)
Each household’s packing lists, general tasks, and household itinerary remain private to that household
Trip owners control who is invited and may remove collaborators

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that anyone you invite to share or collaborate has your permission to access the trip data you share with them.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Local-First Storage

All personal travel data is stored locally on your device by default
The App works offline; you do not need an internet connection for core planning features
Margo Studios does not operate servers that store your travel data except as needed for Premium sync and collaboration features you enable

Cloud Sync (Premium)

When you use partner sharing or trip collaboration, selected data is transmitted to and stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) to enable multi-device and multi-user access. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is synced and how it is protected.

Third-Party Services

Adapty — subscription management and purchase analytics
Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and subscription billing
Google Firebase — authentication, sync, and collaboration for Premium features; Cloud Storage for Disney Cruise itinerary reference data (public itinerary JSON, not your personal data)

Each third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Margo Studios makes no warranties regarding:

The accuracy or completeness of travel information, including Disney Cruise itineraries
The suitability of packing recommendations for specific trips or destinations
The security of your device (you are responsible for device security and backups)
Uninterrupted availability of sync or collaboration features

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Margo Studios shall not be liable for:

Any travel-related issues, including missed flights, lost luggage, or travel disruptions
Device security breaches or data loss on your device
Damages arising from use or inability to use the App
Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Travel Planning Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

Verifying all travel information and requirements
Ensuring they have appropriate travel documents
Making travel arrangements and bookings
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Margo Studios Property

The App, the FamGo Travel name and branding, and all original content, features, and functionality are owned by Margo Studios and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User License

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Termination

User Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device. To delete synced data associated with your account, contact us at help@margostudios.com.

Company Termination

Margo Studios reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the App or sync services for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Technical or security reasons
Business discontinuation

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or App usage shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with American Arbitration Association rules, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

11. Changes to Terms

Margo Studios reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page or in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page when changes are made.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Margo Studios regarding the use of the App, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
