I built FamGo after too many trips where something important slipped through the cracks: socks, my kid's shoes, a ticket I swore I'd already printed, a passport closer to expiring than I realized. Half the time, the confirmation I needed was buried in an email I couldn't even reach the second I lost service, which is exactly when I needed it most.

My partner and I would each try to help, and somehow that made it worse. We'd double up on some things and miss others completely, because neither of us could see what the other had already handled. I have ADHD, and holding an entire trip in my head never worked. A brain isn't built to store that much.

FamGo isn't a checklist with a fresh coat of paint. It's the tool I wished existed: one that remembers the passport date, keeps your documents on your phone and working offline, and shows both of you the same list.

How the guides are written

I'm Sara, mom of four, including one with Down syndrome. That shapes how I plan: access, pacing, and backup options matter as much as the itinerary, and the guides cover them because our trips depend on them. The guides on this site come from the same place as the app: real family trips, mostly Disney Cruise Line sailings, planned with all four kids in tow. I share them on YouTube too. Cruise lines change rules, prices, and policies often, so each guide shows when it was last updated, and I link to the cruise line's own pages for anything that depends on current policy. If something is out of date, tell me and I'll fix it.
