The stress of planning shouldn't keep you from going.

What FamGo is (and isn't)

FamGo isn't a booking app. We won't help you pick a destination, compare hotels, or hunt for flight deals. We pick up after that — once the trip is on the calendar and the real work begins: packing for every age in the group, remembering documents before they expire, splitting prep with a partner, and keeping the itinerary usable when you lose service.

If you have ever rebuilt the same Disney cruise packing list in a notes app, lost a confirmation in email the moment you needed it, or argued about who was supposed to handle online check-in, FamGo is built for that gap between “we booked it” and “we’re actually ready.”

Built for the trips that carry real mental load

Not a generic checklist. Every packing list, task, and plan adapts to who's actually coming.

Traveling with littles

Nothing gets left behind

Packing and prep built around your kids' actual ages, from diaper counts to nap-time logistics, so the trip stops feeling like a risk. Strollers, sound machines, backup outfits, and the snacks that prevent a meltdown in the airport security line all show up because you said you have a toddler — not because a generic packing template guessed.

Kids of every age

Not one generic "kids" checklist

A packing list for a 2-year-old looks nothing like one for a 9-year-old. FamGo builds each one around the age you actually have, then keeps prep tasks timed to when they matter: documents this week, suitcase night-before, day-of carry-on checks.

Multigenerational trips

One plan, everyone's on it

Grandparents, parents, and kids see the same shared itinerary, while each household keeps its own packing list private. You stop forwarding screenshots in a group chat and start working from one plan that updates when someone checks something off.

Sara, founder of FamGo Travel

I built FamGo after too many trips where something important slipped through the cracks: socks, my kid's shoes, a ticket I swore I'd already printed, a passport closer to expiring than I realized. Half the time, the confirmation I needed was buried in an email I couldn't even reach the second I lost service, which is exactly when I needed it most.

My partner and I would each try to help, and somehow that made it worse. We'd double up on some things and miss others completely, because neither of us could see what the other had already handled. I have ADHD, and holding an entire trip in my head never worked. A brain isn't built to store that much.

FamGo isn't a checklist with a fresh coat of paint. It's the tool I wished existed: one that remembers the passport date, keeps your documents on your phone and working offline, and shows both of you the same list.

Why not just use TripIt or Wanderlog?

They're good at what they do. They just don't know who's actually coming on your trip.

Local-first. Synced only when you choose.

Your trips, packing lists, tasks, and documents live on your device by default and work offline. We don't run our own servers that store your travel data automatically.

That means FamGo works the same with no signal: on a plane, on a ship, in a canyon with zero bars. Pull up your boarding pass, hotel confirmation, or passport photo the second you need it, wherever you actually are.

Turn on Partner Sharing or invite another family to a trip, and only the data you choose to share syncs through Google Firebase so they can see it too. Keep a trip solo — Premium is not automatic cloud backup — and your travel plans stay on your device.

  • Works with no wifi or service, documents included
  • No account required to use the free plan
  • No ads, no selling your data to anyone
  • Group and partner sync only shares what you choose to share
  • Export your data anytime, in your control

How FamGo works

Three steps between booking the trip and actually feeling ready for it.

Most travel apps assume the hard part is finding the trip. FamGo assumes the hard part is everything after: remembering who needs a passport photocopy, which kid still needs a car seat on the transfer, when Castaway Club planning opens, and whether your partner already packed the rain jackets. You enter the people and the dates once. FamGo turns that into packing lists, timed prep tasks, document storage, and a day-by-day plan you can share — without forcing every private household detail into a public group thread.

Step 1

Tell FamGo who's coming

Add your destination and dates, then who's actually coming: a toddler, your best friends, three generations of family. Ages, trip style, and whether you're planning solo, with a partner, or with another household all change the packing lists and tasks FamGo builds next — so you are not starting from a blank checklist meant for a generic adult traveler.

Step 2

Get a plan, not a blank page

Packing lists, prep tasks, and reminders show up already built around your people, sorted by when you actually need them: this week, the night before, day of. Instead of one endless list you ignore until the night before departure, you get a sequence you can work through in short sessions without holding the whole trip in your head.

Step 3

Travel as a team

Fill in the day-by-day plan and FamGo watches the weather for you. Add tickets and other documents, and share the ones your group needs to see. Check off tasks, pack by person, and pull up everything even without service — so the plan stays useful from the week you book through the moment you are standing at the gate or the gangway.

What families pack for a Disney cruise

A Disney cruise packing list is never just “clothes for a week on a ship.” Ages, Castaway Club status, embarkation logistics, and port days all change what you need — and when you need to handle it.

Families using FamGo for Disney Cruise Line typically start with traveler ages and sail dates, then get a packing and prep plan that covers more than a suitcase. The goal is not a prettier checklist. It is a plan that knows a baby’s list is different from a fourth-grader’s, that online check-in opens on a specific day, and that the documents you need at the terminal should already be on your phone before you leave home.

  • Castaway Club–aware timing for planning windows, payment dates, and online check-in
  • Age-specific packing for babies, toddlers, school-age kids, and adults on the same sailing
  • Embarkation-day tasks so boarding documents, Port Adventure confirmations, and must-packs are ready before you leave home
  • A day-by-day plan you can fill in for sea days, ports, character meets, and dining
  • Offline access to tickets and confirmations when ship wifi is slow or unavailable

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about pricing, Disney cruises, partner sharing, and offline use.

Is FamGo free to use?

Yes. FamGo is free to start with one trip, full packing and task generation, and up to three documents. Premium unlocks unlimited trips, saved traveler profiles, full itinerary tools, partner sync, multi-household collaboration, and data export.

Does FamGo work for Disney cruises?

Yes. FamGo is built with Disney Cruise Line planning in mind: age-specific packing lists, prep tasks timed to your sail date, day-by-day itinerary space, and guides for planning windows, embarkation day, and carry-on packing.

Is FamGo only for Disney trips?

No. Disney cruises are a common use case, but FamGo works for family road trips, resort weeks, flights with littles, girls’ trips, and multigenerational travel. You tell it who’s coming and where you’re going; the packing lists and tasks adapt from there.

Can my partner and I share the same trip?

Yes. Partner Sharing lets two people on one Premium subscription see the same tasks and itinerary so you stop double-booking jobs or missing them entirely. For other households on the same trip, use group invites instead.

Does FamGo work offline?

Yes. Trips, packing lists, tasks, and documents live on your device by default. That means you can open a boarding pass, hotel confirmation, or packing list on a plane, in a port, or anywhere with weak service.

How is FamGo different from TripIt or Wanderlog?

Those apps organize bookings and itineraries well. FamGo focuses on the mental load after you book: who is coming, what each person needs to pack, which prep tasks are due when, and how partners or other families share the work without losing private packing lists.

Free to start. Premium when you need more.

Free: 1 trip, full packing and task generation, up to 3 documents.

Premium: unlimited trips, saved traveler profiles, full itinerary, partner sync, multi-household collaboration, data export.

$9.99/month or $59.99/year. One Premium subscription covers both partners.
